Welcome to Hoofi.dev ("Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Service Description

Hoofi.dev is an automated data processing tool that allows users to send data payloads ("Ingest"), filter them using keywords, and optionally analyze them using Artificial Intelligence ("AI") models to trigger notifications.

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties regarding the reliability, accuracy, or uptime of the Service.

2. No Liability & Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR MISSED OPPORTUNITIES.

  • No Guarantees: We do not guarantee that our system will catch every keyword or that the AI will correctly interpret every payload. False positives and false negatives may occur.
  • Independent Verification: You are solely responsible for verifying any information received via our notifications. Do not rely on Hoofi.dev for critical, life-saving, or time-sensitive decisions.
  • Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators of Hoofi.dev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

3. AI & Data Processing

By using the AI features, you acknowledge that:

  • Your data payloads are sent to third-party AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) for processing. We do not control these providers and are not responsible for their handling of your data.
  • Retention: We retain decision logs and payloads for a limited period (typically 7 days) to allow you to debug your monitors. After this period, data is automatically deleted.
  • Privacy: We collect your email address for authentication and notification purposes. We do not sell your personal data. We use industry-standard security measures but cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Payments & Credits

  • Pay-As-You-Go: AI features are charged based on usage credits.
  • No Refunds on Usage: Credits deducted for AI processing are non-refundable, even if the AI's response was incorrect, hallucinated, or unhelpful. You pay for the computational time/token usage, not the outcome.
  • Rate Limiting: We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts that abuse the API or cause excessive load on our systems.

5. User Conduct

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Process illegal content, hate speech, or personally identifiable information (PII) of third parties without their consent.
  • Spam or harass others using the notification features.
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to compromise the security of the Service.

Violation of these rules will result in immediate account termination without refund.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
